Our first tap

The Town Street Tap, duly named for its location and home of Duffield Amber.

Friendly and welcoming, focusing on good conversation and great ale and craft beer from our own brewery as well as guest ales from all over the UK. We also serve a broad selection of wines, cider, local gins and whisky. All can be enjoyed by our cosy wood burner.

Aged 18 and over only. Dogs, walkers and cyclists are welcome.

Our vanilla and coffee mild ale, with its delightful combination of flavours, might remind some enthusiasts of the classic Italian dessert “affogato.” The term affogato translates to “drowned” in Italian, and it typically refers to a dessert made by pouring a shot of hot espresso over a scoop of vanilla ice cream or gelato. The contrasting temperatures and flavors create a delightful experience, much like this beer.

We’ll be brewing cask Porangeter next week and it’ll be on the bar in our pubs and brewery tap by the end of April. A number of casks will be available for trade too.
